This Vintage 1955 King Moretone Upright Bass is in amazing "Time Capsule" condition. It came from an Estate Sale where it was found in a closet where it spent most of its life !
The original "King" decals are in perfect condition - EVEN THE ONE ON THE TAILPIECE! Very rare.

This bass was never professionally setup after the factory so the action was rather high. We handled that with Pro setups. The original bridge was lowered to fit properly and the nut was lowered and reshaped. Also, the original Fingerboard is now dressed/planed for a lower action.
